Bernadette, Gary, and their wonder dog Sheldon are enjoying their top-floor studio loft in a minimalist way. And they are letting a few key pieces tell their story.

A replica of the iconic Noguchi prismatic table rests on a distressed arabesque wool rug from West Elm; Eames side chairs ground the seemingly floating Baguette dining table by French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec; and multiple Molo hobo lanterns — portable luminaries inspired by the urban nightlife of Milan’s Zona Tortona during design week — lend a soft glow to the living area while a Bloom sculpted foam pendant light by Hiroshi Kawano illuminates their newly renovated European kitchen.

Lastly, a die-cut wool felt rug by Canadian textile designer Bev Hisey frames their simple yet sophisticated walnut bed that is a nod to mid-century modern.
