Jordan’s loft aesthetic is inspired by the tremendous beauty of urban decay and renewal that permeates Cabbagetown’s industrial history.

The vast ceilings, antique wooden beams, and exposed brick walls support an eclectic theme characterized by an emphasis on found objects, visionary art, and the cyclicality of life. Accent pieces include artifacts sourced from travels to 23 countries, anatomical curiosities, tribal masks, taxidermy, and a personal library where a vintage rolling ladder system is used to access thousands of volumes. At night, the space transforms into an ethereal dreamland containing a 13-foot video projection image, professional grade music-responsive lasers, fog machines, three-dimensional art illuminated by programmable color-shifting lamps, and other special surprises. Most of the art collection has been designed to support local and emerging artists. In addition to being a place of work and residence, the owner uses this loft to host salons where vibrant guests from various walks of life come together for sharing of ideas and discourse.
