I wanted to live in a loft since I watched Jennifer Beals in Flashdance, with her legwarmers and off-the-shoulder blouse, so the Cabbage Queen Loft, as I have named my unit on Facebook, is a lifelong dream come true. This 2-story, 2 bedroom, 1,800sf unit in historical building E, facing the MARTA tracks, is urban living at its finest.
The Eastern fusion atmosphere, created with Indian and Chinese imported furniture, provides a serene sanctuary for recentering after a busy day with an invigorating Ashtanga Yoga practice. The more modern elements, like Jon Stucky’s series of paintings “The Endless” and the Austin Powers pinball machine (Oh, Behave!) are the perfect conversation piece for a lively soiree with a smart crowd. What a feeling!
